this negative liability was due to tax paid at higher rate and rectification of the same in succeeding returns. it was normally adjusted till last year when gstr-4 was applicable. now due to cmp-08 this problem occured

Hi, I have raised this issue to the GSTN through grievance portal, but not any action taken by the Grievance cell and the problem exists.
Trouble in CMP 08 filing exists from last quarter (i.e. April to June 2019). Some negative liability was remained during filing of January to March 2019 GSTR 4. In last quarter return filing for April to June 2019 CMP 08, this is the same problem. and that time i was forced to file a NIl CMP 08 due to this problem. It shows as “Error! Payment amount should not exceed the outstanding liability”

Pease help if any..
