This facility can remove confusion and mismatch. It is easy for both, deptt and taxpayer to reconcile the imports. The Bill of entry is the document filed at the time of removal of goods for home consumption. It is filed for the imports from outside India and also for imports from SEZ. Details of both kinds of bills of entry are available on the GST portal.
