In this course, the latest scheme issued by the Government regarding the Legal Dispute will be discussed. The new scheme, Sabka Vishwas (Legacy Disputes Resolution) Scheme 2019. The course will consist of all the provisions of eligibility and procedure for claiming the benefits of the scheme. Where the assessee has received any letter/notice/order demanding excise duty or service tax along with cess, plus applicable interest or penalty then the assessee has the option to opt-in this Scheme and take advantage of immunity from interest, late fee, penalty or prosecution. Also assessee instead of paying 100% of tax dues are required to pay only 30% or 70% depending on case to case.\n\n
