GST migrations of VAT registrations after Aug 2016: 

This is the query of so many taxpayers weather they need to register in GST or in existing tax regime. Let us make it clear that GST will be applicable from the appointed date only. Appointed date is the date from which any law is legally applicable. GST is not an Act till now. It is expected to be an Act from June 2017. 

When I need to go for migration for GST if I get my VAT registration after August 2016?

If you have registered in VAT after August 2016.Your migration to GST will start from 1st February to 20th March 2017.
