PROFESSION TAX AMENDMENT
Kindly note that section 3(2) of Maharashtra Profession Tax Act has been amended w.e.f. 1st April 2018 (Notification no.XXVI of 2018 dated 31st March 2018 and accordingly a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) is required to obtain Profession Tax Enrollment Number (PTEC) and shall be liable to pay Profession Tax of Rs. 2,500/- per annum.
In this regard, it is advised to obtain the registration of the LLP and pay profession tax on or before 30th June 2018.
